With over 25 years experience guiding groups and expeditions around the world, Trevor is an engaging and experienced guide with a passion for all things Manx. Arriving on the island over two decades ago, on a flying visit that turned into a permanent stay, he has been entertaining visitors to these magical shores ever since.
A keen walking guide, with a special interest in history and heritage, Trevor is available for bespoke tours, special interest groups or just for an entertaining overview of the island and its remarkable heritage.
Available for walking tours and as a step-on guide for coaches, minibuses or in your own vehicle, Trevor will be delighted to accompany you on your journey around the island.
John has a background in Geology and Education and his focus is on landscape, wildlife, archaeology and history.
He has a passion for the outdoors and is a qualified Mountain Leader (Mountain Training Association) and Mountain Bike Leader (British Cycling). As such you can book him for guided walks and mountain bike rides through his business Manx Mountain Activities or book him as a step-on guide and be assured of his experience in the Manx countryside and his deep knowledge of this beautiful island.
My lifelong passion for this wonderful Island continues to be fuelled each time I introduce the harvest of natural and historical elements to visitors on this Nation of delights.
I will do my utmost to provide a bespoke package that could include exhilarating coastal/moorland walks and guided tours of towns and places of interest utilising public or your own transport. Full and half day packages available to suit the spectrum of interests.
With a specialism in acting, my aim is to make your experience as entertaining as possible. Yes I do know where you can drink a good pint at a reasonable price!
Chris is a Manxman born and bred with a passion for the history of his native Island. After a wide and varied career he recently gained a first class honours degree in History and Heritage.
His specialist interests include the rich industrial heritage including our magnificent Victorian railways, and spectacular relics of the Island’s mining past including the iconic Laxey Wheel. He is a keen walker and particularly enjoys opening up hidden corners of the Island to visitors. Family history is another speciality, and Chris has helped many visitors trace their Manx roots and visit ancestral homes and family graves..

Andrew is an archaeologist by training with a strong interest in landscape history and the rich cultural heritage and wildlife that is at the heart of the Isle of Man.

As a qualified Walking Group Leader (Mountain Training Association) he can also teach map reading navigation and survival skills so he’s happy to head out along the Island’s footpaths as well as over the hills!
