Driver Guide

Dave has lived on the island for all of his adult life and has a rich knowledge of history, heritage and amazing facts and firsts which originated on the Isle of Man.

A keen walker himself, he is a two time finisher of the local 85 mile Parish Walk and would be delighted to tire you out on a walking tour of our beautiful scenery and surroundings !

An engaging and entertaining guide, Dave is also one of a handful of qualified Driving Guides who can offer tailored and bespoke tours in his own executive saloon vehicle.  Pick up and drop off at your hotel is included in the various tours which can range from a simple two hour TT course tour to an all day island sightseeing experience

Chris is a Manxman born and bred with a passion for the history of his native Island. After a wide and varied career he graduated with first class honours in History and Heritage in 2018.

His specialist interests include the Island’s rich industrial heritage including our magnificent Victorian railways, and spectacular relics of the Island’s mining past including the iconic Laxey Wheel. He is a keen walker and particularly enjoys opening up hidden corners of the Island to visitors. Family history is another speciality, and Chris has helped many visitors trace their Manx roots and visit ancestral homes and family graves.

Andrew is an archaeologist by training with a strong interest in landscape history and the rich cultural heritage and wildlife that is at the heart of the Isle of Man.

Book him for a step-on guiding service, or join him on guided walks and talks through the Manx countryside and coast.

As a qualified Hill & Moorland Leader (Mountain Training Association) he can also teach map reading navigation and survival skills so he’s happy to head out along the Island’s footpaths as well as over the hills!
