Born and raised on the Isle of Man, I have always had a fascination for history and I’ve always considered that the subject is fundamental to how we understand , not just ourselves , but our place in the world and how events in the past have shaped the world we live in today.
Therefore for me to say that I’m interested in a plethora of subjects relating to the Isle of Man is an understatement, but chief amongst them would be the Smuggling and Victorian Eras leading through to World War 1, World War 2 and the inter-war period. Besides that however, with enough time I would be able to research any topic of your choosing. I’m more than happy to go on a town or country walk or just hop into your car, minibus or coach and work with your itinerary so you can get the most out of your visit here to the “Jewel in the Irish Sea”.
